The perfect base from which to explore Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is known as the 'gateway to Snowdonia'. The cottage offers the convenience of the village, with its numerous cafés, pubs and shops, whilst being only a short drive from countless beaty spots and attractions. With generous living space, the cottage itself is perfect for all kinds of trip (romantic/family/friends) at any time of the year. Enjoy a barbecue in the large garden in summer, or a cosy log fire in winter.

Good to know

Charming, characterful two bedroom period terraced cottage in the heart of the popular village of Betws-y-Coed. The cottage has two bedrooms - one with a kingsize bed and one with two singles. Children are welcome, but please note that the house is not child-proofed. A travel cot, high chair and other baby equipment are available on request. The large back garden (accessed by a few steps) is perfect for enjoying a relaxing drink after a walk in the hills, or you can enjoy a barbecue on the paved patio with picnic table. In winter, enjoy a warm log fire in the living room. Cook a meal in the well-equipped bespoke kitchen. The cottage also has a dining room, with a football table. Enjoy a long soak in the freestanding bath (with shower attachment - no separate shower). There is usually ample space to park on the road just above the house (unrestricted).

Please note that there is no separate shower; only a shower attachment on the bath. Please note that whilst children are welcome, the house is not child-proofed. It is your responsibility to keep them safe.

Beautiful location overlooking the sea. Big house with lots of space. The hosts were lovely and prepared the house early for us as we turned up earlier than expected. Its a short drive to town but we preferred this as it felt really nice and secluded yet close to all the amenities.

Er was een voetbaltafel aanwezig waar we met onze 2 kinderen veel gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Grote tuin om te zitten. Ruime accomodatie met alle gemakken voorzien. Locatie ligt aan de rand van het centrum, afstand tot centrum met winkels en restaurants is 3min lopen. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor de Snowdon Mountain Railway of de Miner's Path wandeling. Parkeren kan een uitdaging zijn. Alleen een bad met douchekop aanwezig, een douche zou handig zijn geweest, maar we hebben ons kunnen behelpen.

The location was excellent, with everything right on the doorstep. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you could need, and the property was very clean. It was also great that it was pet friendly, and the games provided were a lovely touch. The sofas and beds were very comfortable, which made it easy to relax. There wasn’t much to dislike. We found the bath took a little while to get properly hot and stayed more warm than hot. There is a shower head attachment, although we found it slightly tricky to use without splashing.
