The Cowshed, Conwy

'The cottage is welcoming, quaint and lovely with everything you will need' (Richard, October 2023). The Cowshed is a self-contained annex with beautiful views of the Conwy Valley. It was a cowshed many years ago, then it was converted to a granny flat, and it has recently undergone a series of renovations as an Airbnb, whilst retaining its rustic charm. (As an annex, it is on the side of our family home, so please note that we will be around. It is self-contained, but you may see us in the garden, and may occasionally hear us). It is in a very peaceful spot, with a lot of wildlife around. You may be fortunate enough to see a red kite. It is likely that you will see the semi-wild Carneddau ponies. Also expect to see sheep and cows, our cockerels, and our horses at some times of year. There is one bedroom, with a double bed (with a sprung base, so it's suitable for those who prefer a softer bed). Open plan kitchen/living/dining room. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic appliances and utensils (no washing machine). Please note that the Cowshed does not have a lot of storage space. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Equipment for a baby (e.g. travel cot, high chair) is available on request. The central heating is connected to ours. Please let us know if you would like it adjusting. There is also an electric radiator. The bathroom has a shower. Please note that the water pressure isn't the best. We have a large garden. You will have exclusive use of the patio (but please note that we may be around). The rest of the garden is a shared space. There is wifi, and a smart TV. There is a dedicated Netflix profile, or you can use your own subscriptions. We allow pets. Obviously we clean thoroughly between guests, but this property would not be suitable for those with severe pet allergies. We are in the countryside, so the odd insect may get in when the windows are open. Please note we have a disused swimming pool (watch this space - it should be in use and available to guests soon!). Children must be supervised outside.
